GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation)

New European regulation on the protection of personal data.

This regulation came into force on May 25, 2018. It provides a new legal framework for personal data protection by strengthening individuals' rights and introducing new obligations for companies processing data.

This European GDPR regulation has been supplemented by the French law on personal data protection published in June 2018, which updates the 1978 Data Protection Act.
